Safety Inc. has supported safety operations associated with the Midnite Mine Superfund remediation project located on the Spokane Tribe Reservation in Washington State. The Midnite Mine is a former open-pit uranium mine that operated from the 1950s through 1981 and was later designated a federal Superfund site due to contamination from radionuclides and heavy metals affecting soil, surface water, and groundwater. Cleanup activities involve large-scale earthwork, waste rock containment, water treatment, and environmental restoration under EPA oversight.

Safety Inc. has provided safety oversight and support in this complex remediation environment involving heavy construction, environmental remediation, and multi-contractor coordination while maintaining strict health and safety compliance standards.

Safety Inc. provides comprehensive safety support services at the Dawn Mill site, a complex industrial and environmental remediation project requiring strict regulatory compliance, hazard control, and coordinated safety management across multiple contractors and work activities. Our team supports daily operations by overseeing site safety programs, conducting inspections and audits, facilitating safety meetings, and ensuring all work is performed in accordance with OSHA regulations and site-specific safety requirements.

Work at the Dawn Mill site includes industrial operations, equipment operation, maintenance activities, environmental work, and construction-related tasks, all of which require detailed planning, hazard analysis, and continuous safety oversight. Safety Inc. personnel work closely with site management, supervisors, and subcontractors to identify hazards, implement controls, and maintain a strong safety culture focused on incident prevention and operational excellence.

The Moab UMTRA (Uranium Mill Tailings Remedial Action) Project in Moab, Utah is one of the largest environmental remediation projects in the United States, involving the relocation and permanent disposal of uranium mill tailings along the Colorado River. Safety Inc. personnel have supported site operations by assisting with safety program implementation, field safety oversight, hazard assessments, regulatory compliance, and worker safety training. Work activities at the site include heavy equipment operations, rail loading operations, material handling, radiological controls, environmental remediation, and transportation logistics, all requiring strict adherence to safety procedures and federal regulations.

Our team works closely with site management, subcontractors, and federal stakeholders to ensure safe work practices, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement of safety performance. Safety Inc.’s involvement in the Moab UMTRA Project reflects our experience supporting large-scale government, environmental remediation, and industrial projects where safety performance is critical to project success.
